Over and over, the GOP have launched partisan, reckless attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act -- attempts that would result in millions of people with pre-existing conditions losing the health care protections they depend on.

Time after time, supporters like you have stopped them in their tracks. But the latest attack on Americans' health care is deeply worrisome.

This week, oral arguments began in a blatantly ideological case that could overturn the entire Affordable Care Act and strip health care from millions of people. Pursued by Republican state attorneys general and the Trump administration, it's the biggest threat to affordable care yet.

If the case in Texas v. United States proves anything, it's this: The Trump administration and its special interest allies will never stop putting ideological goals above Americans' health.

Should the judges rule to overturn the ACA, it will have massive ramifications for our country's entire health care system, affecting health care for the millions of people directly covered by the law and potentially upsetting a massive part of the U.S. economy.

We cannot falter. At this crucial moment, we need to show that Americans in Rhode Island and across the country are prepared to fight for our health care against every threat.
