Dear Friend,

Roses are red, violets are blue, the midterms are coming, are your friends as ready as you?

A pledge is a promise you make to vote on Election Day, and it’s a commitment we take pretty seriously here at NextGen! We know that we’re more likely to stick to a plan when we make a public promise to complete it.

We also know that peer-to-peer, person-to-person conversations are our best strategy to mobilize our communities to the polls and make generational change in our government. That’s where you come in.

Spread the word: Ask your friends, family, or even your crush to pledge to vote!: [link removed]

With the midterm elections fast approaching, we can’t think of a better way to build political power than bringing more members of our community into the fold of our democracy.

Asking for a pledge is as easy as clicking a button -- and you can make that ask through email, Facebook, or Twitter. If you’re really feeling the love, share on all three!

So today, tell that cutie they’ve got a civic duty and ask if they’ll commit to vote!

Tell someone you love: Sign a pledge to vote today so we can turn up in record numbers on Election Day: [link removed]
