During the Watergate scandal and the impeachment of Richard Nixon, it was
the public congressional hearings that rapidly turned the tide towards
national support for Nixon’s impeachment and eventually forced Republicans
to give up on defending the criminal actions of their president.

So we need to know: Will you be following the public impeachment hearings?

Whether you watch them live on TV, catch nightly coverage on cable news
(with the exception of Fox News’s propaganda, of course), or just follow
reporting on the hearings in newspapers or online, paying close attention
to what will be unfolding on Capitol Hill, beginning today with the
testimony of revered diplomat William Taylor, is an act of patriotism.

Another patriotic act is encouraging others you know to tune in and pay
attention to this public phase of Congress’s impeachment inquiry into
Donald Trump.

Trump and his Republican cronies are trotting out one patently ridiculous
defense after another and they are challenging Americans to ignore clear
evidence and not to believe their own eyes and ears. By cutting out any
dishonest Republican spin and following congressional testimony as
directly as possible, Americans now have a chance to get perhaps their
best view yet of all the evidence of wrongdoing by this president and his
henchmen.
