Friend,
In the weeks since we launched our campaign for Governor, I’ve been all across the state, talking with and listening to voters, and building our vision for a stronger Massachusetts. What I hear from people on the campaign trail has a direct impact on how we will govern.
When I was running for Attorney General, I heard so many heartbreaking stories from people whose loved ones were struggling with substance use disorder. It was a window into the devastating impacts of the opioid epidemic, and it’s what inspired me to make it a top priority.
Eight years later, we’ve sued Purdue Pharma and the Sacklers for their role in this crisis, delivered millions of dollars back to Massachusetts communities that were harmed, and expanded access to treatment and prevention programs across the state.
I’m approaching our campaign for Governor the same way. That’s why I want to hear from you, what you are experiencing, and what you want your next Governor to focus on. Together, we’ll put forward a bold vision that moves Massachusetts forward in a way that includes everyone.
Thanks for all you do,
Maura |
