In January, Barbara learned she’d be running in California’s 12th District. She’ll represent the same East Bay communities she does now, but in a district with a new name now that California’s congressional maps have been redrawn.

Now, we’re back in campaign mode as we set out to re-elect Barbara to the newly drawn 12th District, defend our slim House majority — where only five seats stand in the way of a Republican takeover, and continue advancing our progressive agenda.

The truth is, midterm elections are never easy for the party in power. But we have hope.
