Hey John --

In case you missed it last week: former Attorney General Jeff Sessions is running for his old seat in the Senate.

We can’t afford to have him back in Congress. Jeff Sessions and Steve King are two peas in a pod. Steve King defended Sessions’s atrocious record as Attorney General, even after most Republicans were asking for his resignation.

We need to make sure that a fellow fighter for the everyday farmer, Senator Doug Jones, is re-elected next year.

Will you help me defeat Steve King and help Doug Jones defeat Jeff Sessions by making a donation of $5 or more to both of our campaigns right now?

I have long admired Doug’s service for the people: fighting for justice and righting long-standing wrongs. He works tirelessly in the Senate to protect Americans’ healthcare and ensure our farmers are not subjected to unfair, harmful trade deals.

Meanwhile, when Jeff Sessions served in the Senate, he rolled back civil rights protections, denied the science behind climate change, voted against the Affordable Care Act, and opposed common sense criminal justice reforms. Not to mention his terrible track record as Attorney General -- becoming Trump’s yes man and championing the separation of children at the border.

We need leaders who will fight for working Americans -- people like Doug Jones. What we don't need are extreme politicians like Jeff Sessions and Steve King who advocate for taking rights away, vote to rip away health care for millions of Americans, and spew out hateful rhetoric.

I know where I stand in this election -- where do you?

If you want to help me defeat Steve King and make sure Jeff Sessions goes down in Alabama, then please donate $5 or more to both of our campaigns today.
