Dear Friend,

We have good news to share with you on the redistricting front. We have filed lawsuits to challenge Democrats’ outrageous, blatant gerrymandering and the judge assigned to the case just announced a hearing date of February 24th. Democrats’ maps are textbook, filthy gerrymandering, and are in direct violation of the state constitution. The law is on our side, but we are gearing up for a tough legal challenge and need to show we have the people on our side, too. Please don’t forget to sign your name to our petition and please consider chipping to help fund our lawsuit that will have national implications. You can learn more below.

Democrats’ obsession with power can be felt in everything from their illegal gerrymander to their continued assault on our freedoms. Kathy Hochul’s refusal to lift the mask mandate on children in schools is not only patently absurd, but it defies logic, science, and morality. She has no problem keeping children--the least vulnerable population to covid--trapped under masks, despite ample evidence showing emotional and developmental harm. As a parent myself, we are sick and tired of our kids being treated as pawns in Democrats’ political power ploys. That’s why this year’s election is so important to fight back and restore atwo-party checks and balances to Albany.

Sincerely,

Nick Langworthy
NYGOP Chairman

"The inmates are running the asylum!"

"The inmates are running the asylum" is a perfect analogy for what is happening and it is because of the radical Democrat policies that put criminals before law-abiding citizens. This is why it is critical to get everyone out to vote Republican and we will put a STOP to it.

NYGOP Must See News:

State Senate districts will also face legal challenge in New York

Spectrum News

A lawsuit challenging the U.S. House district maps in New York is being expanded to include the lines for state Senate seats, according to a filing submitted Tuesday.

The legal challenge to the redistricting process, controlled this year by majority Democrats in both chambers of the state Legislature, comes amid a heightened national battle for control of statehouses and the House of Representatives in Washington. Republican opponents of the maps approved last week by Gov. Kathy Hochul have argued the district lines unfairly favor Democratic candidates, an assertion supported by good-government organizations and redistricting experts. The challenge in large part is on an amendment to the state constitution meant to ban partisan redistricting, known as gerrymandering. The constitution forbids district lines drawn to favor a specific candidate or political party.

Dems are disregarding their own mandates they expect us to follow

New York Post

At this point, you gotta think Democrats are just trolling America. AOC, why don’t you go down to Florida and party maskless? Then come back and lecture people about how rugged individualism should be rejected. It’ll be hilarious. Eric Garcetti, go pose with Magic Johnson bare-faced and then say you were holding your breath! Holy cow, they bought it! How far can we push this? I got it: Stacey Abrams, go sit maskless in front of a bunch of schoolchildren who are forced to wear masks every day even though the science is crystal clear that they don’t need to. See if anyone from CNN or MSNBC notices.

How a Long Island Republican Used a Mask Rebellion to Revive His Career

New York Times

Helping to fuel his rise has been Mr. Blakeman’s seemingly single-minded political mission to challenge and defy Gov. Kathy Hochul, the state’s top Democrat, over her mask mandates, as well as rising crime rates and bail reform, which have proved potent issues for Republicans. “Bruce Blakeman is on the scene; he’s a major Republican leader in this state,” said Nick Langworthy, New York’s Republican Party chairman. “Everybody counted him out, but now Bruce has a great platform. And what I admire about him is he really wants to use it.”

GOP poll shows DCCC Chair Maloney vulnerable in New York’s 18th Congressional District

Washington Times

Rep. Sean Maloney, chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, has his hands full in his quest for a sixth term, according to a poll from his GOP rival that shows the incumbent is in a dogfight. The survey found Republican New York State Assemblyman Colin Schmitt and Mr. Maloney locked in a neck-and-neck race with 38% siding with the Republican and 37% siding with the Democrat. “Given that Schmitt has so far done no paid advertising and is largely unfamiliar to a majority of the district, the combination of Schmitt‘s current lead, the challenging political environment for Democrats in NY-18 and Maloney‘s lack of voter support all strongly indicate that the district is poised to flip in the November election,” the poll analysis from BK Strategies reads. The survey had a relatively small sample size of 300 voters in the 18th Congressional District, which includes New York City’s northern suburbs and exurbs such as White Plains and New Rochelle.

‘No neighborhood is safe,’ Crime up in nearly every NYC precinct: latest stats

New York Post

Nearly every single city police precinct has seen spikes in crime so far this year — including five in which the rate has doubled, according to the latest troubling NYPD statistics. “No neighborhood is safe,” one Brooklyn cop warned Tuesday. “At this rate, we will lose the city by St. Patrick’s Day.” The only precinct in Manhattan to not see its crime rate jump was the 22nd Precinct, the one covering Central Park. “Only the squirrels are safe,” another cop added wryly. “Tourists will never come back.” Seventy-two out of the Big Apple’s 77 police precincts saw crime rise, leaving just five at 2021 levels or dipping below their figures for the same period a year earlier.
