But not without your help

John,

By now, everyone knows that the War on Drugs was explicitly manufactured to target Black and Brown communities. But, despite that knowledge, our nation’s leaders have stood by and let this racist agenda destroy lives and do irreparable damage to marginalized communities.

It’s time for serious drug reform, John. And, as usual, bought-and-paid-for politicians like Rep. Donald Payne Jr. aren’t willing to do anything about it.

But, unlike them, I understand that drug policy is inherently linked to issues like racial justice, criminal justice reform, mental health care, economic growth, and so much more. I understand that simple shifts in policy could change the lives of millions of marginalized people.

And I’m committed to making that happen as your next Congresswoman.

For years, I’ve been a strong advocate for drug policy reform. And for my efforts, I was recognized on InsiderNJ’s Top 100 Cannabis Power list for my work on legalization in New Jersey.

Now, I’m ready to take that same determination and outspoken activism to the halls of Congress — to fight for everyone who’s been left behind because of our country’s messed up drug policies. If you’re with me, click here to chip in $27 today and join our movement for progressive change.

Here are just a few pieces of my plan for drug policy reform:

  • End the racist War on Drugs both at home and abroad
  • Legalize cannabis for adult recreational use at the federal level
  • Push to expunge all cannabis-related convictions
  • Make sure that communities most harmed by the War on Drugs see the most economic benefit from legalization

This is a fight we can win, John. But it’s going to take a powerful grassroots movement to fend off New Jersey’s corrupt political machine and the Democratic establishment. Can you chip in $27 today to help grow our movement and take a major step toward drug policy reform?

Thank you for standing with me.
