Friend, I’m the most vulnerable Senate Democrat up for reelection, and I need your help: While my potential opponent, Herschel Walker (R), is busy aligning himself with Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell, I've spent my time in the Senate fighting for our priorities – from voting rights to affordable health care to climate justice and more. I'm in this fight to stand up to corrupt leaders and restore moral leadership to our government.

Experts at POLITICO say that Democrats' best chance of defending our razor-thin majority hinges on keeping Georgia blue – but while Walker has raised nearly $10 million from GOP megadonors to try to buy this seat, I'm running a people-powered campaign that depends on grassroots support. Now, with time running out before our crucial mid-month deadline, we’re falling dangerously short of our $200,000 goal.

As a kid who grew up in public housing, I know what it's like to be counted out before you even get started. But through hard work and the support of my family and community, I was able to graduate from college and went on to become the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church. Now, I'm proudly serving as the first Black senator in Georgia's history.

But here's the situation: Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and the entire GOP establishment are coming after me as their top target for defeat. A new super PAC promised to flood the airwaves with attack ads to smear me – and polling shows me falling 1 POINT BEHIND Walker.

That's why we have to fight back now – and it's why falling short of important goals like this isn't an option. Because if we fail to keep Georgia blue, Mitch McConnell will be back calling the shots and obstructing our Democratic agenda at every turn.
