When Dem AGs lose to extremist Republican candidates, there are real consequences for our communities: Years of progress can be undone in a matter of weeks, and we’re seeing that exact scenario play out in Virginia.
Since taking office in Virginia last month, AG Jason Miyares has already:
Pulled Virginia out of a lawsuit in favor of the EPA regulating power plant emissions under the Clean Air Act
Fired 30 members of the Virginia AGs office who were working on issues like election integrity, civil rights, and human trafficking
Withdrew Virginia from a legal brief defending abortion access and arguing that Roe v. Wade should be overturned
We have more than 30 AG elections on the ballot this year, many of which are being contested in key battleground states. We have a winning strategy, but we need your help to make sure we have the resources we need to put it into action and to win.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in 2022, we need your support – will you chip in today?
