We recently learned that Trump routinely engaged in destroying documents during his time in office:

The whole thing strikes us as ironic, given that his number-one problem with Hillary Clinton when she was running for the presidency was how she stored documents. Of course, that was all despite the FBI ultimately deciding nothing illegal occurred. Unlike with Trump, whose paper-shredding sprees and removal of top-secret documents are potentially illegal.

We think it’s important to realize the full extent of the damage Trump has done here. Aside from skirting all norms of accountability, it is now highly plausible that critical documents regarding Trump’s time in office have been destroyed by Trump himself .

This is unacceptable to us, John, and we imagine it is to you, too. That’s why we’re asking you today to sign on to our petition to find those documents , and figure out exactly what pieces of the puzzle we are missing. [[link removed]]
