The great thing about democracy is that progress is possible as long as there are folks willing to fight for it. Even though sometimes that progress takes years of organizing, wins, losses, and stalemate, our democracy is still able to accomplish big things.

Our democracy is an act of faith renewed with each election but if we don’t remain vigilant and continuously work to strengthen it, we risk losing it. We must preserve, strengthen, and advance our democracy year after year, election after election.

Right now, there are folks all across the country, in Texas, Arizona, Georgia, and even in Congress, who are actively working to undermine our democracy and ignore the will of the American people. They want to be able to remain in power regardless of the outcome of elections. And in order to continue preserving our democracy, we cannot allow them to gain any more power this year.
