Big news, John.

Yesterday, we got word that another one of our primary opponents suspended their campaign in this district.

We are officially the Democratic frontrunner in this race, and we are one step closer to unifying local Democrats in our effort to unseat Kevin McCarthy!

I want to commend my primary opponents on their hard-fought campaigns. I also want to let everyone know that I’m staying in this fight, and I’m not backing down.

We have an uphill climb, but our Central Valley district has been left behind for too long while McCarthy cowers to Trump and jockeys for the Speaker's gavel.

He needs to be held accountable, and there's no more powerful way to do that than by challenging him at the ballot box right here in the 20th.

This goes without saying but I'm not a politician, and I never dreamed of running for Congress, especially after being a teacher for more than two decades.
