That’s how much my opponents and ultraconservative donors poured into Minnesota’s Fifth District last cycle. That huge amount of spending wasn’t just about attempting to unseat me — it was also about trying to silence our movement.

All their efforts failed, and we’ve made incredible progress in our fight to create a brighter future for everyone. But our work isn’t over.

It’s up to us to advance the fight for racial, economic, social, and environmental justice for all — from securing a living wage, to taking bold action on climate change, to centering human rights in our foreign policy.

But we know from experience that everyone from corporate lobbyists and GOP mega-donors, to far-right members of Congress, will do everything they can to try to block our progress and defeat me in this election.

That’s why I’m reaching out today. When we launched my re-election campaign, we set a goal of bringing in 3,000 Founding Donors to help build a strong grassroots foundation for the months ahead to power our community organizing work, online ads, and more.
