Hi, I’m Cody Lee – Susie’s son.

You may know my mom as the Congresswoman who emails you sometimes but, to me, she’s a lot more than that.

My mom is the person that I can always count on to be there for me. On not so great days, it feels like she always knows exactly what to say or do to make me feel better. And she’s definitely a great listener.

Growing up, she taught my sister and me to treat other people the way we want to be treated. Leading with kindness and respect is a commitment my mom made to us and to all others. In fact, I believe it’s one of the reasons why my mom ran for office in the first place!

The priorities that she fights for every day – equal rights, education, health care, and more – are the same values that she’d want her own representative to stand up for.

She leads with her heart and I really admire that.

I’ve seen just how hard my mom works in Congress to serve the people who elected her. But her re-election this year is going to be tough, and I’m doing everything I can to make sure she wins. Can you help out, too?
