John, I know it’s usually my husband Tony asking you for money.
But today, I told Tony I’d be the one to ask, and explain what this campaign means to us. So, yes -- I’m about to ask for $10 before midnight. Let me explain why. >> [link removed]

I know Tony can flip this seat for Democrats:

One of the things I admire most about Tony is that when he believes in something, he doesn’t stop until he gets the job done.

When he ran for the state Legislature, Tony fought for his principles against all odds.

When local businesses were struggling due to the pandemic, Tony secured relief funding.

When Tony’s dad passed away from COVID-19, Tony demanded safer working conditions for essential workers like my father-in-law.

And when Congressman Don Bacon favored tax cuts for billionaires and voted against COVID relief:

Tony stepped up to unseat him.

Everyday folks deserve a fighting chance, but my husband’s opponent doesn’t have the interests of our community at heart. Tony is determined to win this race, but it won’t be easy -- or cheap. Don Bacon is already over $500,000 ahead. That’s why Tony needs to raise another $11,003 before midnight, and why I said I’d ask you today on his behalf. Will you chip in $10 to help him close this gap? >> [link removed]

John, now you know a bit about Tony’s amazing track record.

But I want to be clear: running for Congress isn’t just about politics for him.

It’s personal.

It’s rooted in his experience growing up in poverty and fighting to defy the odds.

It’s rooted in the lessons he learned as a public school teacher, working with kids like him.

And it’s rooted in his desire to leave the world a better place for our kids, Ava and Luca.

John, I know you work hard for your money, and I wish I didn’t have to ask.

But if Tony misses his $11,003 goal, he’ll have to make serious budget cuts to his campaign.

And it will be that much harder for him to flip this important seat for Democrats. So I’m asking one last time, John: If you believe in Tony like I do, will you chip in $10 now? >> [link removed]

Chip in $15 now >> [link removed]
Chip in $25 now >> [link removed]
Chip in $50 now >> [link removed]
Chip in $100 now >> [link removed]
Chip in $250 now >> [link removed]
Chip in a custom amount >> [link removed]

I’m so proud of Tony. I hope you are too.

Thanks for supporting my husband,

Lauren (and Ava and Luca!)

Tony Vargas is a State Senator, public school teacher, and Dad running to represent Nebraska’s Second Congressional District and unseat Republican Don Bacon.

This fight is personal. The American Dream made Tony’s story possible. He refuses to sit on the sidelines while others struggle to achieve the same dream.

This fight is also high stakes. Joe Biden won the presidency because of Nebraska. Now, Tony’s fighting to finish what he started and flip this district blue.

Tony is proud to be endorsed by 314 Action Fund, BOLD Democrats, and Latino Victory Fund.

Email is the best way for Tony to keep his supporters up-to-date with happenings from the campaign trail. We know we send a lot of fundraising emails -- but that’s because his campaign is fueled by grassroots donations from folks like you.
