As I’m sure you’ve already heard, Vice President Pence visited New Hampshire last week to file President Donald Trump’s candidacy for our upcoming, first-in-the-nation primary. Then he made an unplanned stop while heading back from Concord at the Puritan Backroom -- my family’s restaurant. I hear they even got some chicken tenders to-go.

We know the Trump campaign will be making more stops in NH-01 as we get closer and closer to 2020 and that national Republicans will be spending BIG here in the 1st District. In fact groups like the NRCC, the RNC, and the CLF have already started attacking me with baseless lies about my work in Washington.

You know that every day I am fighting for our shared values to lower the costs of prescription drugs, expand access to healthcare, and defend our reproductive freedoms. You also know that I’m one of the most vulnerable incumbents running for re-election in a district the Trump-Pence ticket won in 2016 - and the GOP knows that, too.

That’s why Team Pappas has set aggressive fundraising goals to ensure we have the resources to run a powerful grassroots campaign that reaches every single voter we need to defend this seat. Our next internal deadline is tomorrow at midnight, and right now we’re $3,510 short of our goal.
