• Governors across the country have been the last line of defense against voting restrictions and a roll back on reproductive rights.
• But here’s the catch. Politico is calling this governorship “among Republicans’ top targets,” and Cook Political is ranking this race as a tossup race. Michigan has been, and continues to be, incredibly competitive. What we do today will prove to be crucial to Democrats’ chances of winning next November.
• Extremists and special interests have already spent millions in Michigan to try and distort my record and right-wing billionaires have said they are fully committed to unseating me next year — and that’s why we can’t let up now.
