More than 10,000 people have signed since we launched our petition for the Postal Service Board of Governors to appoint a new Postmaster General who supports our public Postal Service.
Have you signed yet, John?
In June, 2018 the White House announced proposals to privatize the Postal Service. Now, Postmaster General Megan Brennan has announced her departure from her post in January 2020.
The Postmaster General has wide powers to shape the mission of USPS. There is a real risk that the Postal Service Board of Governors will appoint a successor who will hand over parts of the service to private, profit-making corporations and prepare it for a wholesale sell-off.
We need to make our voices heard. John, sign the petition to the Postal Service Board of Governors now.
