Hi folks, John here! I wanted to shoot you a quick update about our very busy week in Washington.

On Wednesday and Thursday, I chaired hearings in both the Space & Science and the Employment and Workplace Safety Subcommittees, where we discussed everything from Colorado’s stellar aerospace industry to how we can recruit, retain, and diversify our health care workforce.

Then, yesterday I joined Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm to announce $5 billion for a nationwide electric vehicle charging network, with at least $57 million of it coming directly into Colorado!

Make no mistake: we are making progress in Washington. But if we want to make sure Congress continues to do the work of the people, it’s critical that we keep our fundraising on track so we can protect our Democratic majorities.
