Friend,
Yesterday, The Washington Post published a fake news attack on America First Legal in an attempt to discredit our success in stopping the race-based rationing of lifesaving COVID-19 treatments in Minnesota and Utah, and our ground-breaking lawsuit against the State of New York.
Their false headline states: Former Trump adviser falsely claims states are rationing scarce Covid-19 treatments based largely on race.
But even in their own article The Washington Post admits that race-based rules for medical treatment were indeed put into place, just as America First Legal said. According to the reporter:
“When Minnesota and Utah health officials started using race as a factor to determine who would get scarce covid-19 treatments, they were hailed for their efforts to bridge the pandemic’s deadly racial divide.
Now those officials are center stage of the nation’s latest battle over race, identity and equity, after they rolled back their policies under pressure from conservatives and a group led by Stephen Miller, a top adviser to former president Donald Trump.”
This article is a perfect example of the partisan disinformation that now passes for journalism in the United States of America. Pretending and lying is wrong. And The Washington Post cannot get away with this nonsense.
