Issue 6

My fellow Republicans,

Precinct Chairs have an impending deadline tomorrow. We have people in the office to help you fill out the application. Try to not wait until the last minute but we are available until the 6 pm deadline.

I know we are all awaiting our voter registration cards, but after the Democrats fled the state, the districting maps passed late, and now the voter cards sent to you by Bexar County Elections are behind. This could cause some issues as almost 100 precincts have changed numbers and about 50% of those are because precincts had to be split in half due to population increases.

Early Primary voting begins Monday and continues for the next two weeks, ending the Friday before the March 1 Election Day. A voter card is not required to cast a ballot. Cards from the last cycle have expired, but their voter registration status has not. Voters can confirm their status HERE You can also see your individual sample ballot at that link.

This is a reminder that your local Party is striving to be impartial and helpful to all candidates. On request, we have hosted candidate events at our offices and loaned equipment. We put candidate events on our calendar. We are happy to have literature and signs here at the office for voters who drop by and request them. Those facilities are equally available to all candidates.

There is a lot of election training, virtual and in-person, being offered right now. We have included details for Election Integrity Training, Poll Watcher Training and Election Clerk and Election Judge training
