Did you know that in 2020 Philadelphia had the highest eviction rate in the country?

The CDC’s eviction moratorium has come and gone, leaving many Pennsylvania families vulnerable again. In the month of January, 1,030 families were evicted in Philly alone. Team MGS takes this issue very seriously, and recognizes that the trauma of eviction can have long-lasting impacts.

That’s why Mary Gay does the real work of helping families stay in their homes. As co-chair of the Bipartisan Congressional Access to Legal Aid Caucus, Mary Gay is using her experience as a lawyer and her fighting spirit to make sure every family has the legal aid they need to access public services.

Mary Gay, along with other members of the Caucus, push every day for more legal aid funding and cross-agency coordination to support the needs of underserved individuals.
