Mixed Messaging by Public Officials Cloud COVID Return to Normal

Naturally, we’re all confused by this.  Common sense naturally dictates the question – why do we have to wear masks in one instance, but not the other?  We don’t really get answers to these questions from our political leaders or government health experts.

Californians aren’t upset by Newsom and Garcetti not wearing masks.  They’re wondering why government hasn’t figured it out yet, implementing straightforward mask rules that make sense, everyone can follow, and don’t defy logic


No More Games - Return the Surplus Back to CA Taxpayers

Based on the projected overage of $2.6 billion, a back-of-the envelope calculation means that every tax filer would get back about $140.  And if Sacramento does better than the Gann Limit and returns the entire $20.6 billion surplus back to taxpayers, that means a refund of about $1,100 for each tax filer – the best endgame of all.

The Cost of Going Green Keeps Going Up

There’s no defensible reason for California’s electricity prices to “be significantly higher than the national average,” he says. Simply put, they are the product of policy decisions, including Senate Bill 100, the legislation that requires the state to go to 100% renewables by 2045.
