Friend, In a moment, I'm going to ask you to split a donation between Elissa Slotkin's campaign and mine, but first, I want to tell you why she needs your help so much right now. Elissa’s never had an easy race. She flipped Michigan’s 8th district in 2018 with a little over 13,000 votes and won in 2020 in a seat that voted for Trump. Now 2022 is shaping up to be another tough fight. This year, she's running in the most competitive House race in Michigan, and one of the most competitive races in the entire country. If she doesn't win, Democrats might lose the U.S. House majority! The Cook Political Report has officially labeled this race a “toss-up.” It's no surprise. In 2020, President Biden won Michigan’s newly formed 7th District (where Elissa will be running for reelection) by less than 1 percentage point. While this new area is more rural, it still contains Michigan State University and Lansing Community College. That’s a lot of young voters, some of whom will be registering for the first time this year. Thanks, Debbie Stabenow Debbie Stabenow
