Louisiana runoff: Nov. 16 (Saturday!)
Mid-month goal: $40,000

Friend, this year has been a mixed bag when it comes to elections in our target states.
In April, we flipped a state Senate race in Pennsylvania. GOOD. But the same day, the fair-map candidate lost a Supreme Court race in Wisconsin -- the state experts say will "define the presidential election." BAD.
In October, Louisiana's Democratic governor didn't win the majority, so he's going to a runoff. NOT GREAT.
On November 5, Democrats won in Virginia and Kentucky. VERY GOOD.
But we're not done yet -- Louisiana's governor and a number of state legislative races will be decided this Saturday. A race for a "bellwether" state House seat in Texas is headed to a runoff, too. What happens -- and whether we end up with fair maps -- depends on you.
Will you pitch in to our mid-month goal to help us keep investing in our target states until we achieve fair maps?
