Urgent request for help! Could you look after these lions?! |

Hello John, we wanted to share the best possible news and seek your help. It’s been
an emotional and exhausting few days but, at last, the Lions of Lockdown have arrived safely at their forever home in South Africa this morning.
COULD YOU LOOK AFTER THESE LIONS?!
What
joy! Angela, Bellone, Saïda and Louga can soak up the sun amidst the peace of
our sanctuary in Shamwari, having journeyed 9,000 miles by plane and lorry from
their temporary home in Lyon, France. Looking a little nervous, the four
stepped cautiously out of their travel crates and began to explore their
expansive new home. |

|
“They’re
beautiful! We’re over the moon to welcome them,” exclaimed our Animal Care
Manager Glen Vena. “They’re settling in fast and had something to eat and
drink. We’ll be back in touch with an update soon.”
Safe
in our care, memories of their shocking life in the noisy circus ring can
gradually fade. Born Free now urgently needs to raise money to give the loving
expert care for life the four deserve. |
- £5 could buy a meat & offal ice lolly, a great
form of enrichment
- £10 could provide a health-enhancing vitamin boost for
one lion
- £24 could buy one day’s food and care for two lions
- £162 could provide one week’s loving care for two
lions
- £700 could provide one month’s loving care for two
lions
- £4,200 could provide one year’s expert care for one
lion*
- £16,800
could provide one year’s expert care for all four lions
*Warm
thanks to our friends at Lazy Lions for already sponsoring one year’s care for
Louga and Angela. Could you or your company do the same? |

Double
your donations! Thanks
to a generous sponsor, Michael Kitchen-Hurle – a wildlife artist and
compassionate conservationist – all one-off donations up to £50,000 until 30th April 2022 will kindly be doubled at no extra cost to you! Give TODAY to DOUBLE the love and DOUBLE the care. |
Did
you know Angela, Louga and Saïda are now aged 14, while Bellone is 16? We hope
they’ll enjoy many years happy retirement in our care. But, looking after one
lion is a huge commitment, and we’ve taken on four more!
If just 10% of our incredible supporters we email today respond with a £10
donation, we’d be able to guarantee the four lions’ care for the next five
years. Stand up for these precious big cats and be part of the terrific 10%! |

With
your help, we can achieve something awesome and properly look after these four
new additions. If you love lions as we do, if you too are elated they can now
live safe from harm in their ancestral homeland, your gift today will help us
treasure each lion beyond measure.
Warm
thanks from the Born Free team |
