"Please Explain" How to Pass the
Buck Episode 14
Over the last two years, Australia has had to deal with two
pandemics, COVID-19 and buck-passing!
No one passes the buck better than Australia's power-mad premiers,
so we thought it was high time they were forced to "please
explain!"
Join us for an episode of political ducking, dodging and diving as
the prime minister and his crew go head to head against the state
premiers who helped make this pandemic so painful for Aussies.
We love your feedback and ideas, so
please keep sharing them with us. Join the creative team at 'Please
Explain' by clicking on the button below.
Here's a brief look at a few of the comments from these two latest
episodes on YouTube:
"Now THIS is POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!! - a political commentary
that as actually correct, and calls it as it
is!" (Jess)
"'Yorick Hunt' caused me to laugh so hard I almost DanDrewed my
pants. Amazingly funny stuff. Well done!!" (Ray
Smith)
"These guys somehow managed to sum up two years of politics in
2 minutes. Legends!!!" (Sceats Sketches)
I Support Freedom Protestors and I
won't be Silenced!
From Senator Pauline
Hanson
Today, when speaking in support of those protesting vaccine
discrimination outside parliament and across Australia, an attempt was
made to shut me down. (Watch the video above.)
These are the lengths that supporters of jab mandates, and
other discriminatory practices, will go to in their efforts to silence
legitimate criticism.
So
well done to those protesting, keep it up!
When they try and silence you, that's when you know they are
losing the argument.
If
you want to help me hold the government to account then you can
support my petition, every voice counts, and every signature is
appreciated!

We Are Not Convicts Anymore
From Senator Malcolm Roberts,
Queensland
The world view which our Parliament now advances has the
fundamental assumption that people cannot be trusted to behave in the
best interests of their community and so must be treated as convicts
not citizens.
The time for people to trust the government is over, it is now time
for the government to trust the people.
This, the people’s house of Parliament, must stand in
defence of the values that forged this country.

The Religious Freedom Bill Debacle in
Canberra
From The Hon. Mark Latham MLC,
New South Wales
Thankfully the Morrison Government's Bill has now been abandoned,
after a dreadful process.
The attempt by the Left-wing of the federal parliament to
amend the Religious Discrimination Bill to remove the exemption clause
for religious schools in the Sexual Discrimination Act is a complete
and utter disgrace.
Senator Rebekah Sharkie’s amendment is not about the
well-being of students at all. It is nothing more than another attempt
by the Left to destroy the independence of religious schools. Worse
still the amended bill would allow discrimination against religious
schools based on their religious beliefs. This is the very thing the
original bill was intended to prevent! What a disgrace.
The amendment carried in the House of Representatives yesterday to
repeal Section 38(3) of the Sex Discrimination Act (exempting
religious schools) was never about the wellbeing of school
students.
In fact, the amendment had nothing to do with the main bill, which
was supposed to protect people against religious discrimination.
No, the amendment satisfied a decades-long Left-wing demand to get
at religious schools, to drag them before the Human Rights Commission
for relatively minor matters in the administration of these
schools.
If the Parliament ever supports the repeal of 38(3) it will create
a new era of political activism and harassment against religious
schools—the exact opposite of what the main bill was supposed to
achieve.
To give one example: if a 14 year old boy goes to an Islamic or
Christian or Catholic of Anglican or Jewish school one day and says he
identifies as a girl and wants to use the girls toilets and change
rooms, the school would have little choice but to accept his/her
demand.
To refuse access, technically, is discrimination and the school
could be hauled before ‘human rights’ tribunals, running up huge legal
expenses just to defend itself and its own sensible management of this
issue, which would be to say the transgender-identifying student
should use a toilet in the schools office block.
This is what the Greens, Labor Left and the other gender activists
want: new attacks to destroy non-government religious schools, which
they have never supported going back to the State aid debates of the
1960s.
We hear a lot about ‘vulnerable students’. But what about the 12
year old girl who doesn’t want the boy and his penis in her toilet, in
her change room?
With self-identification of gender, no one knows if the boy is
genuine, if he’s doing this for a prank or possibly and most
dangerously, he is a predator on young girls.
I have spoken to many parents who say things along the lines of, “I
spend good money to send my daughter to a non-government school and
the day there’s a penis in her change room is her last day at the
school. She would have a heart attack at the thought of it, let alone
the reality. If they want to protect the vulnerable how about they
start with young girls who just want to be left alone as girls.”
This would be good advice too for Stephen Jones, the ALP Member for
Whitlam. To bring his son into the debate as a political weapon
against religious schools is appalling.
There is no evidence of Paddy Quilter-Jones being badly treated at
his school, if, in fact, he even goes to a religious school. In fact,
there’s no evidence of religious schools expelling gay or transgender
students.
The Greens and Labor have fabricated a solution to a problem that
doesn’t exist, aided by the Green Liberals who crossed the floor in
the House of Representatives.
If Stephen Jones believes in gender fluidity, that’s his business,
and it has produced a gender fluid child, as the world now knows. But
that child deserved his privacy, rather than being turned into a
political weapon against the education of other people’s children.
If we stop religious schools from practicing their religious
beliefs then they, in effect, become government-controlled schools,
which the Left have wanted all along.
That’s what this debate is about: government control over religious
freedom. Scott Morrison was a fool for ever letting it unfold this
way.

State News
From Stephen Andrew, MP for
Mirani QLD
The least we can expect as taxpayers from our elected government
is:
1. Transparency
2. Integrity
3. Accountability
The call has been made for an independent inquiry into all of the
above because claims and accusations are leveled at our government
from our highest integrity officials.
This is a serious matter that needs all Queenslanders' support.
I have lodged the below e-Petition to request this inquiry and will
be following up every avenue possible to explore these allegations for
the people of Queensland. Please share and engage in stopping the rot
here in our beautiful State.
