This week, I voted to pass the bipartisan Postal Service Reform Act to improve services for all Americans. I’m dedicated to delivering for working families – can you chip in today to ensure that I can keep fighting for the Third District? [[link removed]]Dear friends,
I just got back from Washington after a busy week fighting to make our district and our Commonwealth a better place for everyone to call home. I’m excited to share an update on that work: this week, I voted for the Postal Service Reform Act, which passed with strong bipartisan support!
The USPS is one of our oldest government institutions, and folks in our smallest towns and biggest gateway cities have relied on it for generations. That’s never been truer than over the past two years as mail carriers worked around the clock, even during a global pandemic.
But for years, bad laws have forced the USPS to operate at a deficit, resulting in longer wait times and slower service. That means folks risked not receiving their medication, payments, or other essential deliveries on time. That’s unacceptable to me, friends.
My vote this week will address these issues and ensure that each of us can keep relying on the Postal Service for years to come.
It’s because of supporters like you that I get to work every day in Congress to pass legislation that makes a difference. If you're able to pitch in to help my re-election campaign I'd be deeply grateful. Can you help today with a donation?
