Team:
I’d like to take a moment to explain why it’s so important that we defend this seat, not just for the next two years but potentially for generations to come.

Here’s the situation: the redistricting process is ongoing, but based on 2020 census data we know that Pennsylvania now has 17 congressional districts. That’s one fewer than we previously held, and it’s also an odd number.
Why does this matter? Because it’s up to the congressional delegation of each state to certify its state’s election results.
In 2020, eight Pennsylvania Republicans voted against certifying our electors. Now that we’re losing a seat, that margin becomes even slimmer. And as we’ve seen time and time again, Pennsylvania is a crucial swing state in presidential elections.
Bear with me: this means that what happens in this House election could very well determine the future integrity of our electoral system and whether we have a free and fair presidential election in 2024.
I won one of the closest House races in the country in 2020, and Democratic experts are forecasting an even closer race this year. With the future of our democracy on the line, we can’t afford to leave anything to chance.
Can I count on you to chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can spare right away to ensure I have the resources to stay in Congress and fight for Pennsylvanians and all Americans?
