Americans rely on the United States Postal Service for essential goods, life-saving medications, paying their bills, receiving Social Security, and even exercising their right to vote. But ever since former President Trump appointed Postmaster Louis DeJoy, he's worked to sabotage the USPS at every turn.

DeJoy is still trying to undermine President Biden's agenda and the USPS by implementing policies that slow down delivery times and raise costs — including in Washington. His actions have interfered with President Biden's plan to send out free at-home COVID-19 tests. Now, Postmaster DeJoy has even moved to replace our aging fleet of USPS vehicles with gas-powered vehicles instead of electric ones against the guidance of the EPA and the White House.

Millions of Americans rely on the USPS, and we have to take action to protect workers and our environment. Derek helped pass the bipartisan Postal Service Reform Act through the House this week to support the USPS. He's working to ensure the postal service has the financial footing to keep providing essential services for years to come.
