Friend –

Did you know that cancer-causing PFAS chemicals can contaminate our food supply?

PFAS have been widely used in food packaging and can migrate from packaging into food. PFAS contamination of milk, meat and eggs has been found at sites where soil and water have been polluted with PFAS-contaminated wastewater and sewage sludge.

Even low doses of these toxic “forever chemicals” have been linked to serious health risks, like suppressed immune system and cancer. Yet there are still no standards limiting PFAS in our food or water!

The chemical industry is free to dump these toxic chemicals directly into public waterways and use them in food packaging. From there, PFAS chemicals make their way into the drinking water of more than 200 million Americans and into our food supply.

These corporations and our government have been well aware of the health risks associated with PFAS for decades, but almost nothing has been done to protect our health.

We need your help, friend. We’re looking for 6,700 of our top supporters to complete a quick survey about PFAS chemicals by midnight tonight. Your responses will help us formulate our plans to get PFAS chemicals out of our food and water.
