New York Times : G.O.P. Declares Jan. 6 Attack ‘Legitimate Political Discourse’
"The Republican National Committee voted to censure Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger for participating in the inquiry into the deadly riot at the Capitol."
Team,
President Trump spent the last weeks of his presidency spreading lies about voter fraud and our elections leading up to the events of January 6th, and even though he's no longer president, he hasn't stopped. Now he's outright saying that he would consider pardons for the January 6th participants.
To make matters worse, the Republican National Committee recently decided to not only censure Republicans investigating the attack but also described the events of January 6th as "legitimate political discourse."
Let's be clear: Violently storming the Capitol to overturn the results of a free and fair election was not "legitimate political discourse," and pardoning the participants of January 6th is not "treating them fairly." Suggesting otherwise is beyond dangerous.

Right here in New Hampshire, three of our opponents have continued to spread Trump's election falsehoods. Some of our opponents continue to call for unnecessary audits, and one has openly said that she believes Trump won the 2020 election. These lies are dangerous and threaten our democracy, and we can't let them stand.
Chris will always fight to protect our voting rights, strengthen our democracy, and hold our leaders accountable. Add your name if you're with Chris in the fight to hold those who perpetrated the January 6th attack on our Capitol accountable >> [link removed]
