Friends,

Climate change is on the ballot this November.

We’re not just reflecting on the enormity of the challenge of climate change, we’re meeting that challenge head-on.

We’ve committed to investing $37.6 billion to future-proof this state. That means preparing for wildfires, tackling drought head-on, reducing pollution, and more: There aren’t many NATIONS in the world that are making that kind of investment that we’re committed to here in California.

But make absolutely no mistake about it: if Republicans win the governor's office or make significant gains across the state, that forward-looking approach will end — immediately.

So please, help me win re-election — and with my name on the top of the ticket, carry Democrats up and down the ballot to victory this November:

Can you please make a $3 contribution to my re-election campaign today? This will be a tough year for Democrats, but we can deliver victory all across the state if we all do our part.

The hots are getting hotter, the dries are getting drier, and the extreme weather is getting more extreme each year.

How we tackle that challenge is a choice — one you can count on me to make, and one Republicans have proven they won’t.

Doing your part to make sure we have that opportunity to act is also a choice. One I am asking you to make today:

Can you please make a $3 contribution to my re-election campaign today? Help me win while electing Democrats all across the state.

Thank you,

Gavin Newsom
