The Postal Service is an essential part of the fabric of our nation. It is one of the most important and respected institutions we have, and we must protect it from those trying to harm it. This bill will save the USPS $50 billion over ten years while ensuring current and retired members of the post office receive their benefits.
This bill is an agreement to fix some of the serious problems that have been looming over the Post Office for years and threatening its financial stability. On top of that, it will save the Federal government $1.5 billion dollars, making this bill economically effective for our country!
