CLIMATE CAN'T WAIT. WE NEED ACTION NOW.
With the Build Back Better agenda, we have the chance to protect our health, cut dangerous pollution, advance environmental justice, reduce energy costs for families, and create good-paying clean energy jobs – but progress is being delayed in the Senate.
President Biden must keep his promise to take meaningful action on climate, justice, and clean energy. He must do all he can to work with the U.S. Senate to swiftly craft and pass the most comprehensive version of the Build Back Better Act possible, including the critical climate, justice, jobs, and clean energy investments.
Tell President Biden to continue making climate change a top priority and help get the U.S. Senate to pass the most significant climate investments ever.

Friend — Scientists have been warning us for years that extreme weather is going to become more frequent and more severe due to climate change. Last year, we experienced devastating droughts, hurricanes, severe flooding, and destructive wildfires, with a total price tag of $145 billion.
Beyond the numbers, real people are suffering and they deserve better. Communities of color continue to be disproportionately impacted by climate change and face increased health burdens and death from pollution. The Build Back Better Act will create jobs, cut energy costs, and curb the pollution that harms families and children.
With help from supporters like you who spoke out, volunteered, and donated, LCV has been fighting for months to pass historic investments that would create a safe and thriving world for future generations. YOU have made it so that a majority of congress members support investing an essential $550 billion in climate, clean energy, justice, and good jobs.
The end is near, but we still need your help to get this bill across the finish line. This is the moment to make record-level noise that reverberates in the Senate.
Urge President Biden and the Senate to finalize the most comprehensive version of the Build Back Better Act possible, including the $550 billion in investments that will deliver on climate, justice, good jobs, and clean energy.
Sincerely,
Sara Chieffo
