Down here in Florida, things are booming, commerce and real estate up, restrictions down.  It's the exact opposite of New York and New Jersey which are sinking under regulations and quality of life problems. The big difference among the states is that the progressive movement has been largely neutralized in Florida, while it is running wild in the northeast.
