Last Thursday,the Governor officially signed into law new district lines for Congress, the State Senate, and the State Assembly ([link removed]) .

So what does that actually mean, and why does it matter?

For our district, it simply means that I will no longer represent some of our neighbors but instead will represent a handful of new constituents that now fall within the District 13 lines. It also means that I’ll be calling every voter and knocking on every door – whether they’ve been in our district for 30 years or 30 minutes. Team Ramos is ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work, but we need as much support as possible to hit the ground running. ([link removed])

One of the things I love about District 13 is this community’s constant involvement with my office and our progressive agenda. But our new constituents won’t necessarily know about all of the amazing work we’ve done together, from securing historic education funding to guaranteeing paid sick leave for workers amid COVID-19.

I am so excited to pound the pavement, get to know our new neighbors, and ensure all of District 13 knows what we’re fighting for. But it’s not going to be easy. ([link removed])
