Hi Revealer,
My name is Anayansi Diaz-Cortes, and I’m the senior reporter and producer behind Reveal’s most recent investigation, After Ayotzinapa ([link removed]) . Alongside Kate Doyle of the National Security Archive, I have devoted four years to researching the story behind the 43 disappeared students from Ayotzinapa. It’s been grueling and devastating and inspiring all at once.
Kate and I knew that we had to tell this story. Because it’s not just about the 43 students. It’s about the 90,000 disappeared since 2006, Mexico’s history of unchecked human rights abuses and the role that the United States’ policy has played and perpetuates.
