It's easy to take for granted this grand experiment we call the United States; how blessed we are to call her home. It's easy to get lost in the toxicity; to lose sight of the centering principles that make us uniquely American.



Our political parties and media sure don't help, either. They remind us how we're different, who's to blame, and why the sky is falling -- with no one to blame but the "other side."



What really should scare us most is that our kids are watching. While we may see this as a dark chapter, our youth are growing up believing this is normal: That the ends justify the means; that the winner must take all; that the only way to win is at all costs; and that violence is "legitimate political discourse."



Instead, we could learn something from them:

Our movement is experiencing incredible momentum and growth right now, and it's because so many Americans are waking up to the reality that we can't keep going this way and end up anywhere good. Our parties are playing a dangerously divisive game -- one in which each promises they'll win, yet we all end up losing.



It's time to change the game; to stand for truth; to save our sacred "sandlot."? That's exactly what we're all about, and I'm proud to have you with me.
