Friend,

Last year, we saw legislators in so many states introduce anti-voter bills after unprecedented voter turnout and historic wins. We’re now a little over a month into the new year and their efforts at voter suppression have not lost momentum.

In fact, just this week the Supreme Court blocked a lower court order requiring Alabama to redraw its new congressional map to comply with the federal Voting Rights Act. This ruling effectively allows racial gerrymandering in a district that might have elected two Black House members—which is exactly why we need supporters and advocates like you.

We know the protection and advancement of voting rights has never been a quick and easy fight. It’s supporters like you who can help us win and protect our democracy.

We have been able to mitigate and block some of the worst state anti-voter bills. For example, last year in Georgia we were able to preserve no-excuse vote by mail and automatic voter registration during a very challenging legislative session.

We and our allies can continue the fight in states across the country.

The freedom to vote should not be met with obstacles. The ballot should be readily accessible to all eligible voters. Will you join us in the fight?
