Hello,

Iowa Democrats held their off-year caucuses both in person and virtually earlier this week. Caucuses are an important exercise to reinforce party building and organize the base to help build a stronger Democratic Party. Thank you to all Iowa Democrats who participated in caucuses across the state. Your efforts and dedication are exactly the types of energy we will need to shock the naysayers and topple Sen. Grassley in November. And again, a big thank you to all of you who have signed my nominating petitions to help get my name on the ballot. Getting on the ballot is the first step, and I appreciate each and every signature.

We also held meet and greets in Polk and Johnson Counties this past week. As your U.S. Senator, I will always be present and involved in every local community. From urban to rural Iowa, I will be a Senator for Iowans in every corner of the state and serve as a constant look out for opportunities for growth and innovation, which is why I visited Landus Cooperative in Perry, Iowa yesterday. Landus is Iowa’s largest farmer-owned, agricultural cooperative that employs 600 employees in more than 60 communities around the state. Farmers are the lifeblood of our state’s agricultural system, and it is always my pleasure to listen to them and learn something new.

If your county party is holding any upcoming events or if you are interested in hosting a fundraiser or meet and greet, please email us at [email protected].

Recently, our campaign made a stop in Carroll County, and I discussed the disconnect between the best interests of Iowans and the philosophies of Donald Trump whose endorsement Senator Grassley wears as a badge of honor. What is it about the prosperity gospel preached by someone with whom you have nothing in common with? It's a big mystery. Democrats are the only ones standing up for the working class and promoting policies and legislation that allow people like me, who grow up in rural areas to thrive and succeed. That’s what our message should be if we are going to be successful in November. Click here to read the full article.

Upcoming Events

Every Republican president since Ronald Reagan has sat back and watched profitability taken from the producers. Free-market to them means industry running amuck over farmers. Chuck Grassley watched this happen. Help spread the word and let’s put Grassley out to pasture once and for all.

Thank you for reading this.
