Hi John,

We’re just about halfway through the first quarter of 2022, and this race is only going to become even more competitive from here on out. First and foremost, I want to thank you for being on my team and for helping us keep the House blue as we fight GOP extremism.

I want to share what’s going on in this race and let you know what you can expect in the days to come.

In Congress, I’m proud to have signed a letter urging Democratic leadership to prohibit members of Congress from owning or trading stocks. This is a common-sense decision and one that I believe strongly in. While our democracy is under attack, there is no room for the chance for politicians to use their position for personal gain.

I’ve been working to restore passenger rail service from NEPA to New York, reclaim unused mines to keep our water clean, and fund over $11 million for health care providers in our district.

Meanwhile, the campaign arm of the Republican House caucus is attacking me with everything they have. They know that their path to taking back the House runs right through PA-08.

Plus, there are rumblings that my 2018 opponent may be jumping back in the race, giving me two former opponents to grapple with as I stay focused on what’s most important – making sure our community in Northeastern Pennsylvania is represented by someone who can get things done for working families.
