Folks,
Something BIG went down in Arkansas this week: Democrat Lisa Parks had a great showing in the special election for Arkansas’s Senate District 7.
The final vote had Lisa at just .08 points behind her Republican opponent — a razor-thin margin in a district that has leaned heavily Republican for years.
The results of this special election prove that Democrats can win anywhere when we go everywhere. That’s the attitude we need to take on Sarah Huckabee Sanders in November (and win!).
My campaign has been on the ground, reaching out to voters for months – and we can’t slow down now. Will you chip in to my campaign today and help us keep ramping up our organizing and outreach efforts?
There were only 34 votes between Lisa Parks and victory.
This is proof that every voice and every vote will be needed in November to take this campaign all the way to the Governor’s Office.
Democrats are more competitive than ever in Arkansas, and we have to keep doing the work to engage our communities and increase voter turnout in 2022 and beyond.
That’s why I’m traveling across the state on our Promise of Arkansas Tour — my campaign is leaving no stone unturned and taking care to reach the towns and counties that haven’t had a candidate stop by in decades.
The results of this election have me fired up and I’m ready to kick our campaign into high gear. Will you chip in right now and help us reach as many voters as possible?
Thank you,
Chris Jones
