In November 2019, Judge Alex Kim (323rd District Court) issued a temporary restraining order against Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth.
This restraining order saved 9-month old Tinslee Lewis from a premature death.
You remember Baby Tinslee? An entire hospital committee decided to pull the plug on her ventilator because they no longer wanted to provide life-sustaining care. Tinslee would have suffocated to death against her mother's will.
Thankfully, Judge Alex Kim stepped up to protect her life. Now, she's three years old! He did this despite the political backlash he was sure to face.
