For years, Virginia Democrats have worked overtime to bring our Commonwealth into the 21st century, to make it a place where people of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, genders, and religions feel safe and welcome.
Yesterday the Virginia GOP killed an amendment that would have removed a ban on Gay Marriage from the Virginia Constitution.
These are the people who voted against marriage equality in Virginia:

Les Adams
Jay Leftwich
John McGuire
Phillip Scott
Margaret Ransone
The bigotry doesn’t stop there. Not only do we have homophobic members in the House of Delegates that don’t believe that members of the LGBTQ community deserve full rights under the law — we have a governor who agrees with them.
