hypocrisy was on full display last week, and the public backlash was
swift.
The photo above - included in a tweet she has since deleted -
shows her posing maskless among a group of schoolchildren living under
a forced masking mandate. This is the same Stacey Abrams who’s
proclaimed her full support for a similar mandate statewide.
Governor
Kemp is calling out the small handful of school boards in Georgia who
continue to ignore the science and force students in their districts to
wear masks. He’s urging them to immediately rescind their mandates, and
put parents back in charge of these decisions, while continuing to work
alongside members of the General Assembly and the State Board of
Education to explore all legal and legislative options available.

  PROTECTING PARENTAL RIGHTS
Last week, Governor Kemp’s floor
leaders introduced legislation to tackle one of his top 2022
legislative priorities head on.
Governor Kemp has heard from countless
Georgia parents who want transparency with what their kids are learning
in the classroom - particularly when it comes to divisive ideologies
like Critical Race Theory.
The Parents’ Bill of Rights would ensure
that parents have access to instructional material, requiring those
running our schools to provide requested information. If they are
unable to share requested information within three working days, they
will be required to provide a description of the material and a
timeline for its delivery within 30 days.

Governor Kemp recently
visited with students and staff at Alliance Academy for Innovation, a
career-focused public high school in Forsyth County.
He toured the
school’s facilities and participated in a roundtable discussion,
touching on his Fiscal Year 2023 budget proposal which includes a final
installment of the largest teacher pay raise in state history and $425
million to fully fund our schools and restore all austerity cuts that
were made during the pandemic.
