Nancy Pelosi has folded and reluctantly agreed to support legislation banning
stock trading by members of Congress. This is great news for everyday
Americans, but bad news for Pelosi, who has gained outrageous wealth during her
time in Congress. 

 

So why the sudden change of heart?

 

Just weeks ago, a reporter asked Pelosi, "should members of congress and their
spouses be banned from trading individual stocks while serving in Congress?" 

 

Her response was a terse, "NO."

Pelosi finally heard the music and did an about-face, and agreed to support a
ban on congressional stock trading.It's obvious to the rest of the country — if
you go to Congress, you should be there to serve the people, not to get rich.
That's why I introduced legislation that would ban members of Congress from
trading individual stocks.

 

Elitists like Pelosi will fight tooth and nail to keep their lifestyle intact,
but I'm fighting back.The time of public "servants" getting filthy rich while
in power must end! I'm fighting back, and I need you to join me!
