Last week, I appeared on Devin Thorpe’s podcast, Superpowers for Good. We had a wide-ranging discussion centering on my experience with forgotten communities around the world. I learned early on that we could achieve results by working with the locals. That lesson, earned from decades of representing America in the Middle East, Asia and Africa can be applied right here, in the First District. For years, politicians have invested millions into cleaning the Chesapeake. Yet, all of this money has resulted in very little progress. These “solutions” fail to include the people who use the bay on a daily basis, such as the watermen. For too long, career politicians have tried to do it all on their own for political expediency. I’m going to bring a new approach to Washington, one that involves the people most affected by the problem and who best knows how to fix it. I’m Dave Harden and I’m running for Congress to bring the voices of the Eastern Shore to Washington. Check out the whole podcast here.

Thanks,

Dave
