[ [link removed] ]Welch for Vermont

Hello,

I once got a letter from a Vermonter who said, "I have a choice between
paying for something I cannot afford, or risking a loss that I could never
endure." Lifesaving drugs or health care aren’t helpful if Americans can’t
afford them. Enough is enough. Every American has a right to affordable
health care.

For the past 15 years, I’ve fought as Vermont’s Congressman to deliver
relief for communities who aren’t afforded this right — and with your
support I’ll continue to be on the front lines in the fight to cut the
skyrocketing cost of prescription drugs and health care for all Americans.

For far too long pharmaceutical and insurance companies have had an iron
grip on pricing life-saving and life-extending care options. Big Pharma
has exercised far too much influence over the very treatments that can
save lives. Instead of acting, we’ve seen lawmakers sit on the sidelines
and decline to provide the urgent solutions communities need.

you and your family? Click here and let us know.

There are many common sense steps Congress can take to ease the burden of
the cost of care. We can empower Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices,
work to limit annual price increases, and ensure everyone has access to
the care they need no matter where they live.

I’m proud to be in this fight with all of you. I’ll never stop fighting
for patients, families, and communities to make sure this system works for
people it’s supposed to serve.

care would mean for you and your family.

It’s time we bring relief to millions of people. Thanks for sharing your
story and joining me in this fight.

Peter
